Trevor joined the staff of CPC in February 2016. He graduated from Nazarene Bible College with a B.A. in Counseling for Christian Ministry and is currently working on his Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary. His passion is to share with students—and everyone for that matter—the life-changing message of the Gospel, which is essentially that God made it, we broke it, Jesus fixed it, and He is restoring and recreating it. Trevor is married to his best friend Noelle and they have two children, Benji and Abbey. Trevor and Noelle were born and raised in Southern California and are still getting used to boiled peanuts, calling the interstate the freeway and having to ask for unsweetened tea. When not with students you will find Trevor hanging out with his wife, turning into Iron Man and shooting fireballs across the living room with his son, or having a tea party with his daughter.
Elle Gray Bowers, daughter of Penn and Kendal Bowers. I like to eat, sleep, and eat.
Penn Bowers, husband of Kendal Bowers, father of Elle Gray Bowers. Favorite Bible verse: James 1:2-4. Super power: to see the future. Biggest pet peeve is stupid people/people who lack common sense[But he knows all of us fail and the gospel covers all forms of pet peeves]!!!! I have always wanted to be a professional river dancer.
Kendal Bowers, wife of Penn Bowers, mother of Elle Gray Bowers. I love being outdoors. Biggest pet peeve is smacking. Every time I sneeze I get the goose bumps. I have always wanted to be a Native American and wondered what my name would be.
is married to Mike and they have two sons, Layton (15); Zach (12); & Golden retriever, Bella (6). Hobbies: when not teaching my 2nd graders, I enjoy hanging with my family, walking & being outside, reading mindless magazines (home, family, decorating), and shopping (but I do not enjoy Harbison traffic). Favorite Bible verse: so many, but especially Joshua 1:5 “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
If I could choose one super power: to snap fingers and things would be done (like have my house cleaned, school papers graded, exercise routine done, get to Harbison and back). A pet peeve: when people chew with their mouth open (gross!).A funny story: I survived having bats fly through the fireplace in my first apartment for several days. The managers didn’t believe my roommate & I when we told them, so we finally took one in a trash bag to the office. That day they fixed the problem.
